Discover the Bucegi Mountains
The Ferma Club 5 * is the starting point for some of the most beautiful natural reservations in the Bucegi Mountains. We will gladly provide you with information on the route to these and in the case of organized groups we provide a mountain guide with which you will discover the secrets of the Carpathians.
Here are some of the destinations that we propose, starting with Moroeni:
- Cheile Tătarului, a wonderful area with a rich fauna
- Orzea-Zănoaga protected area
- The fossiliferous site of Vama Strunga
- Poiana Crucii (a mountain grass land at the foothills of the Bucegi Mountains, that shelters a large variety of rare flora, including yellow gentian or red fescue)
- Cocora Cave
- Plaiul Domnesc
- Ialomița Cave
- The fossiliferous site Plaiul Hoţilor
- Lăptici Peatery (an oligotrophic swamp located in the left meadow of the Scândurarilor Stream, that shelters a large floral variety of moss and herbs, specific to peateries)
- Zănoaga – Lucăcilă Area
